The chainless fun ride is a Horny Toad Hustle tradition. The ride takes place the evening before the big race (September 1, 2007) at around 6:00 pm. Participants should gather at the race parking lot in costume (no normal bike attire allowed, however helments are required), tape their bicycle chain to their bike frame and coast down a long downhill jeep road. The first person to complete the ride will receive full bragging rights for the rest of the season, and have their picture posted on our website. The ride is open to the first 30 people who email Monique Garcia by 5:00pm August 31, 2007. Also due to insurance restrictions only folks who are participating, and pre-registered for the race on Sunday may participate in the Chainless Fun Ride (Sorry).
